Hi nick you have a fantastic site exceptional indeed despite you apologizing for not attending recently.
However can I ask if there is a conspiracy against the Langstroth hives, as no mention is made of them even the offer to make them! I am considering using them and find conflicting dimensions in regard to purchasing frames for deep and medium boxes, I have trawled a few sites that use terminology in describing them rather than dimensioning them, I intend to build one unit in Langstroth format for trial but would rather use your frames if I knew the Dims!? my reason for Langstroth over National is; I am less keen on rails holding the frames as opposed to a rebate ie I believe langstroth to be more Mono construction making for greater long term strength, am I misguided perhaps, I would appreciate your thoughts before I get going £’s down the wrong road.

Hi Paul. Thanks for the kind words re the site. I used to work in I.T. a long time ago and still have a few skills. As for National vs Langstroth I decided when I set up Peak Hives to keep it simple and just manufacture National equipment as it is by far the most popular format in the UK. I have done a few one off jobs as requested but I’m usually far to busy to take time away from National Hive making. All the best. Nick.
